Akelarre Book Club

This month, in our akelarre reader, we delve into They've sung bingo, by Lana Corujo, a novel about childhood, the bond between sisters and everything that is inherited in a family, for better and for worse.

It all starts with a game: some nights, in the ten minutes until Abuela returns from bingo, two sisters escape through the back door to a volcano, count to three and run back without looking back. A story that starts out almost like a story and that slowly takes us to much more intense places, in the rough landscape of Lanzarote.

Come have breakfast with us and enjoy a decent Sunday morning, chatting unhurriedly about what the book has removed from us. You don't need experience or having come before, just a desire to read and talk. The meeting lasts 2 hours (Sunday, November 15, from 11:00 to 13:00) and costs 8€, including breakfast.

The reservation will be made on this same page with 5€, the rest of the price must be paid at the place itself the same day in bizum or cash. If the cancellation of the reservation is made less than 72 hours before the event, the price of the place must be paid in full through bizum (you can let someone go in your place if you want).
